Thanks for the heads up BB! WOuld have flown by me otherwise.

I have no idea if it is tonight but should be. It's usually right around Halloween and usually on a Saturday night.

What would I do without ABW to remind me to breathe?!

Well, most of us get an extra hour of sleep tonight. For you marketing folks, that's one more hour to make some money!

Sigh. This year, *some* things have to get set back an hour, some don't.

The PC (Windows) doesn't need changing, it adjusts itself. My wristwatch doesn't since it's self-syncing with WWV's radio signals (can you say "Geek" boys and girls? I *knew* you could... ). And I suspect the new digital cable-TV box will take care of the time change itself.

Then there's the cell-phone, it shows the time when I turn it on, but I know it gets its time from their network system time, which in turn is probably also linked to WWV.

That leaves the "dumb clocks": Alarm clock, car clock, thermostat clock, microwave oven clock, wall clocks, etc., etc....

Isn't it amazing how many "clock things" we all have these days?

No time change out here in Taiwan, but I'm going to need to adjust the formula I use to determine California time.

Thanks, now I know why I had the feelings that I did a lot of work in less time. Actually it was the time cock playing tricks with me.

Today happens to be my wedding anniversary so that means that I get an extra hour to "please my wife" ... My only wish is that the time change would only be for 3 extra minutes instead of a whole hour....

Happy Anniversary Kevin! Consider the extra hour time well spent and a good start to another year of wedded bliss. :-) Your wife has an extra hour to please you, too. Look on the bright side! LOL

    My Anniversary
The 'bright side' is that my lovely wife is blissfully asleep now while I am still searching in vain for why CJ is so screwed up. CJ is our main source of income and lately, income hasn't been so great. It surely would be a wondeful anniversary presant if CJ were to simply get it's act together.... No Realy!!

Thank you very much for the anniversary best wishes!!!

I must have some marketing in me too. I woke up at 5:55am thinking it was almost 7:00am. The clock and body each have a mind of their own.

Both my cable box and my computer automatically changed for the end of day light saving time. I didn't even notice.

Oh, what a great feeling it was to wind those clock hands one hour back!! Almost like I've added another hour to my day!!!!!!!! I wish I could do that for real any time I want. You know, how you're always running out of time? This one hour would've "come handy" in so many situations!

Kevin, I will leave the second part of your above-quoted utterance uncommented. Don't even know if you want congratulations after you've said that... May I just ask how many years you've been together?

The computer and cellphone clocks set themselves. Reset the stove clock. The car clock still needs setting. It's amazing how many blasted clocks have managed to get themselves into my presence, despite the fact that I hate them. They keep coming as parts of other things.

Our dog has been going crazy since it got dark ... about an hour earlier than his dinner time. It'll take him at least a week to figure out that sundown no longer means dinner time.
