Need your recommendation on displaying datafeed
    hello,

I have a datafeed with almost 6000 individual products but without any category, the datafeed columns are: Product Name|Thumbnail|BigImage|AffiliateLink|PRoduct Description

How should I design my web page layout with WebMerge for easy navigation?

    Thanks very much!

    Dave,

First of all, welcome to ABW!

Now to your question: Sounds like in this case, you'll have to invent categories yourself. 6k products in one lump doesn't sound like the most convenient store to browse around (to say the least). What might help is going to the merchant's website and checking out how they themselves categorize these 6000 products. Then you could copy the categorization pattern to your own site.

wow, that seems a lot of work.

I will have to go through the entire product list to edit every single entry, that is almost days of work by itself.

I may just find another datafeed.

    Thanks very much!

Exactly! That's what happens when a merchant doesn't categorize their datafeed.

It's not that bad, but if you spend some time reading the datafeed section here at ABW, you should be able to find how folks save time by doing a seach-and-replace, and other tricks to make life easier and quicker.
