    Transaction Reporting Down? 11/3
Can anybody run a transaction report? I keep getting this message, no matter what report I try to run:

There was an error processing your request.

The incident has been logged and we are working to correct the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Having the same experience Choco Chicken is having. Having an extremely bad day, 1st and 2nd were great, today about 10% of those days. I guess those type of days happen sometimes.

So this is interesting... I can run a transaction report on my laptop (using a different ISP), but not on this computer. Very peculiar? What could cause something like that to happen?

Anybody ever think it rather odd how on one hour, several transactions will come in from one merchant, then the next hour, several from a different merchant, in cycles. Kinda like people only buy shoes at 8 AM, sporting goods at 9 AM, and 10 AM is jewelry time. After 11 AM, you're not allowed to buy anything, you can only look and click. Sales come in during the bleak hours, but none come in during peak traffic periods.

Only happens at CJ though. Kinda makes one wonder if there's a fork in the road with a detour sign somewhere between the cookie and the individual affiliate's accounts.

My problem seems to be related to my ISP.

The strange thing is that I can access the CJ member area from both ISP's, but I just can't run reports from one of them. I wonder if their reporting service bounces off another domain or IP? Does anybody know if it does?

I think this underscores one of the biggest concerns I have about CJ. Does every click, impression, and cookie work the same for every user, every time, regardless of their location? My daily sales volume can be like riding a roller coaster. Up one day, down the next, with no logical explanation.

I really wish I could crack the code. When I have a good day at CJ, I would love to know what I can attribute it to. When I have a bad day at CJ, I would like to know what I need to change.

An hour later, and transaction reporting is working from both ISP's.

This was very strange indeed. I could access the CJ Account Manager, and Performance Reports from both ISP's the whole time. The only problem I had was that I couldn't access Transaction Reports through one of my ISP's for about an hour.

    Anybody have any ideas?

Better cj will look into the problems and try to fix them before they ALL go out of the office for the weekend.

    Trust,

Every once in a while I see the same thing. A horrible day followed by a really great day. What I never undstand is that it is from merchants that don't batch.

I had a look at my stats from previous years. First week of november is always weak. It's going to get better next week, then there's no limit up to Feb.

Zeus...Thanks for the encouraging post. The past few days have been so discouraging...not what I was expecting for the start of 'holiday shopping'. I guess I'll ride it out til Feb.

Interesting.... 11/4 as definately in my top ten of the year and 11/3 was in my top ten worst days of the year. Maybe it is what Zeus is saying. Also, it's always calm before the storm. Let the storm begin...

A rolling blackout...that describes it well. The 4th and 5th sure sucked here...little sales in more ways than one. Such tightwads are coming to my sites! C'mon, customers, it's not like it'd kill you to buy something worth more than $15...
