    Transactions not reported
LinkShare is getting on my nerve lately.
I bought a few gifts for Halloween, from my own links on a secure PC. Two weeks after the delivery, the transactions are still not reported.
With all that mess at LinkShare, it's hard to know who is faulty, the merchant or LS.
I know some merchants are still having problems uploading their transactions. Mine were on Kelli list of merchants. The problem started Oct 22, we're in November. Is it solved or not?
Oct 24 - We're behind on transaction reporting from the weekend. We should be caught up sometime this evening. I'll post again once I know more. Tracking was not impacted, just reporting of transactions sent to us.

A few days before the shopping season, I'm seeing many problems impairing our ability to perform.
1- LS tech dpt swaping servers and memories to artificially boost SynergyAnalytics performance, their born dead project.
2- A decrease in performance for the old reports, missing transactions linked to point 1.
3- LinkShare still helping their buddies to steal our commissions, see the SAHS threads

    Zeus,
If you can tell me which merchant(s) you're referring to re: the Halloween gift items, I'll look into the status of their situation.

Actually 1800Flowers used to be one of my better LS performers till a few weeks ago. Since then it's gone completely dead.

I don't really work with 1-800-Flowers.com because they have so many parternerships with parasites I can't even count them. But they had a particular product I wanted to buy.
I've many sales a day with my merchants so I can spot easily a problem. With 1-800-Flowers.com it've just a few. And I've not seen any since Oct 22.

    Zeus,
As previously stated, the 1-800-Flowers properties were impacted by the server change. They are still working with us to resolve the issue and report all transactions since 10/21. I'll continue to check on the status and let you know once it's resolved.

That's exactly what most of us need to know - which merchants?

We don't know what improvements to target if we don't know whether zero sales is our fault or LinkShares.

Transactions are still not caught up 17 days after an incident? Yes, how many merchants does this impact? Obviously it impacts hundreds of affiliates.

Agreed. I look forward to the day when we can count on the networks to root this stuff out for good.

Newbie question: what are parasites and how do they work? My apologies for my lack of knowledge.

Most affiliates don't even read message boards. So when LS does this, they can be damaging the relationship between affiliates and merchants and when this happens a merchant should find a better way to do business with affiliates. I'm sure there are plenty of affiliates out there that have no clue these merchants are having problems, might have stopped PPC campaigns, might have taken the merchant off the front page, give them less exposure etc. All because LS likes to keep their affiliates in the dark. I want to know which merchants are still having issues.

I too would like a list of affected merchants.

I don't think it is too much for us to ask for considering the HUGE hoops we have all jumped through for Linkshare in the past 10 months or so.

Please see below thread for details on the recent merchant reporting issues:
    http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread...194#post499194

Below is the list of remaining merchants that we were still working with to resolve the issue as of Nov. 1. I've noted new information below, where I have it.

Apple Store - Go forward reporting is fixed. Past files should be received in the next couple of days.
.Mac - Go forward reporting is fixed. Past files should be received in the next couple of days.
Apple iTunes - Past files should be received in the next couple of days.
    The Popcorn Factory
    GigaGolf, Inc.
    Hallmark.com
    DISCOUNTFARES.COM
    1-800-Flowers - Not resolved
    Canadian Tire Corp (Canadian Network)

October 22nd-31st transactions for the above merchants will be processed in November, once the merchant is able to modify their process and successfully report to us.

I am working to get a more comprehensive update on the above merchants.

Thanks, Kelli, for the list. I sure am glad none of those are my merchants or I would be pissed.

I hope LS is notifying all affiliates of these merchants to let them know of the delay. It took lots of frustrating posts here to get this information, imagine how those who don't visit us must feel about their lost commissions?
