Merchants, do you have an API?
    Hello,

I am looking for any merchant with an API.

Please post or if you have or know of an API.

So far, I know of the following:

    Amazon.com
    Ebay.com
    AbeBooks.com

    cardfrog,
Amazon for one has quite a well-defined & exhaustive API system. That is necessary because they carry millions of products & they can't give out datafeeds the way lot of other merchants do. Lot of merchants update their datafeeds regularly & lot of affiliates automate the way they get & process the feeds. But there certainly might still be a need for clean APIs. If you can explain what functionality you need etc, we can see how to make it available & can comment appropriately.

    cheers!

    Hi Nishith,

Thanks for your reply. If you read here:

You'll see what the problem is. We were able to use the API to solve this for amazon's products.

Datafeeds are too static for us, we need an "on the fly" type connection. I don't know the name of your company, and couldn't tell by your sig. So you may want to email me before you go through any major trouble to see if we can work with your product first.

Now I see what you mean. Atleast in our case, you would be able to convert
    HTML Code:
     www.merchant.com/product_id.html
    To
    HTML Code:
     www.affiliate-link-to-merchant.com?product_id=1234

It's still a short while before I make any announcements about our company or the product-line. Just a short while.

    cheers!

We have one in beta release right now, you would sign up and log into your account and under advanced linking is the schema and access to the xml.
