Finally!! We're back in business! :-)
Can't help but share my joy with y'all... It has finally happened!! I've just checked one of my personal affiliate sites' Google ranking (using the world-famous Google Monitor), and the site is up 60+ positions, occupying much better positions now that it was right after the update... Halleluiah!!

Yeah nothing feels better than having a languishing site finally fall back under Google's good graces.

I just had that happen with one ooooooold site and now I have to put fresh links on because it's 99% out-of-stock or links from expired merchants. With my luck, after spending two weeks to spiff it up, Google will ditch it again.

Congrats Geno, I've had a similar shock and subsequent relief myself with the Google update.

BTW guys if you want to see what the final results of the Jagger update will look like once all datacenters are aligned search from http://66.102.9.104/

    PreacherMan,

There are an old saying that say "Don't Shoot the Messenger", so I will just say, thank you for that update link.

Right now I am so Fkg pst off, that all that I will recommend is that anyone that read your post, do a search for their domain name there.

I believe that the time has come for me to just say:
    WTF?
    No more a nice guy.

I'm not so sure I believe it. I've plotted indexed pages vs. just-listed pages for a domain for over a year. I've seen more pages and less pages indexed for the site than what is showing now at that Ip number.

who is vouching for the accuracy of what we see there?

I am going on the information provided at Matt Cutt's blog and GoogleGuys comments over at WMW. The results have apparently seetled at that datacenter and will propagate to the others this week.

Wow. If that datacenter is what propogates, I am a happy happy camper.

That said, I am not counting on anything. The last two days have been so slow and that is WITH plenty of adwords going on...

There's a reason army's wear uniforms even though it makes them easier to spot. Sometimes that's what you want. Uniforms suggest organization, power, and numbers. These, in turn, inspire fear. And, as any good operative knows, there is no more effective weapon than fear.

    jrrl,

It would be a massive suprise to everyone now if that datacenter does not propogate. I'd relax a small bit

New datacenter = spam city. I found three different scraper sites in 6 pages of results for a query relating to a site of mine.
