    MS Anti Spyware ROCKS!!
OK I let my Mother use my PC...
Within twenty minutes I had spyware on it...
I avoid this crap like the plague.. but she knows nothing about it..

It was a very malicious little spyware installation..
When I have encountered these things before I usually manually remove all aspects of the program.. but this was a booger to remove.. I couldn't do it myself..

I have NORTON installed but NORTON Isn't good for anything accept removing AFFILIATE LINKS any more... It couldn't detect the spyware even though the program is well documented on SYMANTEC's website.. NO PROBLEMS as far as NORTON was concerned...

So I downloaded MicroSoft's New ANTI-SPYWARE tool... (BETA) and FREE...!!

WAM BAM THANK YOU MAM... NO More Spyware..
    IST TOOL BAR
    SEARCHFIND TOOL BAR...!!!
    SEE YA...!!!!

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
    Little Tool To Have Installed!!!!!

MS Spware tool is the best thing I own. Three weeks ago it actually caught some sort of trojan trying to be installed on my puter in real time. My screen lit up like the fourth of july and scared me lol. I will take a scare everytime.

Push Sunbelts CounterSpy as an affiliate, since the MS Anti-Spyware program is a clone and free expires in a few months. Both do the job.

I dont think they are going to let this expire, just a feeling I have. I am also thinking it will be part of vista in some form ofr another.

The only problem with the Sunbelt stuff is the error messages that pop up about the Thetans. :-)

Does MS anti-spyware still not detect claria?

After seeing how easily they could be bought off, screw them. I stopped using them.

Same here. I use Pandasoft now. My breaking point came when I tried everything (MS first) to get some crap off my daughter's amchine. Nothing worked. Then I started reading about all of the breaks that MS was giving to their friends. I just didn't want all of their "friends" left on my machines.

MS beta vers is good. Especially cuz its free. But when it comes to database updating...you get what you pay for. any new spyware/malware/adware/trojans wont be updated for weeks and you can still get infected. if anyone wants to try Spyware Nuker for free. PM me.

Gave it a try, gave my PC clean bill of health.

Another free one that you can get is spybot... It was working great for me until I updated windows then it went bad... I probibly should of tried their beta but never did, so not sure if that would have fixed my problem or not... I kind of think it would have but who knows?
