Encyclopedia Brown - the case of the disappearing commission
Yesterday evening I had a lead show up in my account balance and in my quick stats of the home page of my account manager. I never saw it in the performance report, or transaction report. I went to bed. I woke up, and my account balance was minus the lead, and still no sign of it, or a reversal in my reports. What the............?!

All the traffic I sent there today disappeared too so I'm in the same boat as you.

Where in the world did it go? France? Minneapolis? Luxembourg? It's just gone.

    My bet is that officially:
It was a lead from a prior period, that showed up accidentally. The error was then corrected, disappearing the lead.

Well, considering that there are still outstanding transactions that showed up in performance reports last week, but which have yet to be reflected in the detail reports or in the balance, a transaction disappearing into thin air does not seem an unlikely or surprising event.

I think there was an instance last month, right about the same time of month when commissions are being ran for distribution, that the CJ system either pulls in this months data or a previous months data, then within a few hours it is gone. I've had some other people this month say they had anywhere from $20 to $200 appeare and then disappear.

Can we get an official statement from CJ on this, Todd?

Sounds freaky. I'd like to hear an official explanation on this one...

    Ron -

    That's something different.

New sales have appeared in the "performance reports" - the one that shows today's clicks and sales. Others have seen this too, and there are probably many who never even look at that particular area in the reports, so they wouldn't even be aware of it.

My performance reports for this month are twice the money shown in the quick stats when I first login, not sure if they are in my total at the top of the page yet. I will run some numbers tonight to check for sure.

This happened to me too with the FunToCollect program. I contacted Chet and he put in a request to find out what happened. I haven't heard anything back yet. Not really expecting anything soon. Chet was right on it though.

New sales today are reported for FTC but not the one on 11/12/05

My stats are not 2x as your seem to be, but still shows in Proformance, but not transaction or quick stats.
Just adding to the feedback posted.
