    Exclamation CJ Scheduled Downtime 11/22/05
    Here we go again folks....
Scheduled site downtime on Tuesday, November 22, 10 p.m. PST

Due to system upgrades, the CJ Account Manager will be unavailable starting November 22, 2005 at 10 p.m. Pacific Time, until approximately November 22, 2005 at 11 p.m. Pacific Time.

Tracking and recording of transactions are fully functional when the site is unavailable. When the site returns your reports may be delayed for up to 24 hours. If there are any changes to this schedule we will post them to the site to keep you informed

As always CJ your timing is unfathomable.
I would ask if you tested this one first but why bother.
CJ has been in a downward death spiral for a couple of years now so why expect anything to change?
I know lets play a game!

Let's see if it turns out to be another "the dog ate it" excuse for delays in sending payments out.

When have they ever announced one of these just a half-day in advance? Wink, wink.

In principle that may be a true statement.

Ok, I'm going to try to look on the bright side here. At least it's being done on Tuesday and not on Wednesday. This way they'll have a whole day to try to fix whatever they screw up before the holiday....

Somehow that thought doesn't make me feel much better. Can't this wait until January, guys?

I cannot believe that anyone in THIS BUSINESS would decide to mess with
    ANYTHING.. during the HOLIDAY SEASON...!!!!!!!!!!

    DUMB ASS MOVE CJ.....
Leave the system alone for once.. every year it is the same thing...
I would like to see how much I make without any Scheduled Downtimes interrupting the sales..

Whatever they did last time isn't working; some sales are still slipping through and getting credited to us small-fry. They need to get a handle on this before the big holiday rush.

Unbelievable. You'd think they'd have learned by now that you don't mess with systems before the holiday season (I'm referring to the last "upgrade.")

I hope they've told their staff that they'll have to work this weekend. I have zero confidence that they can do anything right. They upgraded, then they fixed the upgrade, then they fixed the fixes to the upgrade, now what? Is this the third or fourth attempt at fixes since the upgrade? I've lost track.

In the meantime, SAS managed to get checks cut today with no disruption in service or tracking. Too bad CJ doesn't have the competence of Brian and his staff.

A total and complete disregard is what this shows.
I can't wait until someone at VC realizes what a bunch of Bozos they have running CJ and fires all of the management. This can't be too far away.

It was 30 days or so back that Todd was here saying they will not do anymore "upgrades" until after the first of the year.

There is no doubt that tonights upgrade is NOT an upgrade, but an attempt to fix something that is broke. For example: some of us are having ZERO to very few sales all of a sudden. Upgrade? This again, is an evasive excuse for internal tech problems. Upgrade? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!

At least it's a "one hour" upgrade instead of the 3-4 day "upgrades" that another network does.

Didn't Todd post that there would be no further upgrades at CJ until AFTER the Holidays? I did a search for that post, but couldn't find it. Anyone else remember this? I'm sure I didn't imagine it!

A classic case of reading more into a statement than is there. It didn't actually say anything about them doing any new upgrade! It just blamed the downtime on some "system upgrade" without actually saying that they were doing another one. So...

    TRANSLATION ENGINE ON
    INPUT
"Due to system upgrades, the CJ Account Manager will be unavailable starting November 22, 2005 at 10 p.m. Pacific Time, until approximately November 22, 2005 at 11 p.m. Pacific Time."

    OUTPUT
Due to the fubarrage caused by the LAST 'upgrade,' we will be closing the Account Manager while we try to fix some of the muckage.

    Beautiful Leader!!

I think your translator engine is right on the money. Something must be very amiss for them to mess with things right now.

Definetly does not instill confidence in their ability to handle business properly.

I think it is truely something they are trying to fix. I contacted AAQ about a bad sales day I had this month and the response back was that their stats show I had 10 times more sales that date than I showed for that date (and still show). I am VERY ANXIOUS to hear back from them as I want to see a copy of the stats they see. Makes me wonder if they are seeing 10 times more sales for every date.

Hmmmm, I just discovered something. I went back and looked at CJ stats for the same period last year, Nov. 1 - Nov. 22, 2004 and the numbers seem way off. So, I did a report for Dec. 1 - Dec. 22, 2004 to see if it was any different. Guess what? It's the same exact damn report! Identical. What's up with this????

Can anyone else go back and check their stats for the same two periods and see if you see any differences?

As a followup to my last post, Performance reports are showing only 10% of my sales compared to actual. Trend graph is accurate, but Performance reports are all screwed up.

oh it's completely screwed up, since the last 'upgrade' running a perf. report for 'this year' I get less than the earnings on a big month I had.

Did I miss a post somewhere that identified this as a problem or is this something knew that just two of us have found?

Also, Todd, is this upgrade going to fix this?

    I'm in, but slow.

Hmmmm, another reporting glitch. Just pulled up Payment History and it is in no kind of order what so ever. Looked at every column and it is not sorted by anything obvious. All listed very randomly. That's never happened before.

    Something wierd is going on....
