    cyber monday
Interesting. I'll be watching commissions on Monday. http://money.cnn.com/2005/11/21/news...nday/index.htm

According to the Shop.org/BizRate Research 2005 eHoliday survey released Monday, 77 percent of online retailers said their sales increased substantially last year on the Monday after Thanksgiving, a trend that is expected to drive serious online discounts and promotions on Cyber Monday this year.
Does anyone remember this from last year?

No, but it makes sense. People will flock to the malls Friday and over the weekend hunting for bargains for themselves and gifts, and come home worn & weary from the traffic, full parking lots, pushing & shoving crowds and lines at checkout, and appreciate the peace and quiet of shopping online.

Shopping online while at work, that is. It's amazing how much larger my traffic (and commissions) are on work days than on the weekends.

I do remember this from last year and believe I did have a better day on Monday. Black Friday was mostly normal for me last year, but the closer we got to December 25th the more sales I got. I think the first two and a half weeks of December will be strongest for us online retailers.

Last year my sales peaked on December 16th. That was a fun day!
