I was intending to put a string of lights along the eaves, and maybe some balls on my little pine trees. But now it doesn't seem worth bothering...

I saw this last week as well. I am thinking it has to be computer simulated.

I was told it was real but the person who didn't didn't synch the lights with the music correctly.

    IN...CRED...I...BLE!!!

I can just see all the neighbors taking down their own decorations: "OK, you WIN already!..."

Those power surges must be driving the local power line voltage crazy, as it snaps from all lights off to all on and back again.

Wherever that is, you can bet their street will be absolutely jammed for as long as that display is running.

    Beautiful, but just unbelievable too.

I just saw this house on local Ohio news. I forgot the name of the town but they are in Ohio. I didn't hear the report just saw the family infront of the house with the caption of where they are.

My hubby said its all midi controlled.(He's got a bunch of recording equipment instruments) Pretty neat.

    Talking
From Snopes: "This display was the work of Carson Williams, a Mason, Ohio, electrical engineer who spent about three hours sequencing the 88 Light-O-Rama channels that control the 25,000 Christmas lights in his annual holiday lighting spectacular (this one was from Christmas 2004). So that the Carsons' neighbors aren't disturbed by constant noise, viewers driving by the house are informed by signs to tune in to a signal broadcast over a low-power radio station to hear the musical accompaniment. "
