This is what etoys tells me:

1)Cut and paste the code from any eToys banner or text link into your HTML document.
2)Go to eToys and choose the page you want your banner or link to point your customers to.
3)Copy that URL into the Commission Junction Encoder (http://tis.dyndns.org/tools/encoder.php3) to encode the URL.
4)Insert the encoded URL into the tag from your Commission Junction banner.
5)Add ?SURL= before the encoded URL.

But that page doesn't exist for me.

    Can anyone help here?

    I was going to say
    quote:
    Use the one at CJ.
Click get html, then advanced options

but it appears that they don't have it enabled.

I have a heap of links that are constructed using the method you described (from an email they send me after the move to CJ), and have never had a sale since the move.

Do these links still track like this?

etoys do not have their advanced link options activated or else there would be a button that says "show advanced options" on the page that gives you the html for their links.

This is what an advanced link to their learning toys page would look like.

    "http://www.qksrv.net/click-XXXXXX-7375476?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.etoys.com%2Fetoys%2FLearnToys.html%3Fls%3DlearnToys%26pl ace%3Dajum"

This is a link to a similar tool from ebay

A long time ago (when CJ removed the encoder tool), I emailed etoys, letting them know the encoder was gone. They emailed back that they appreciated me contacting them, and that I should use the encoder.

Thank you very much smeg, and others.

I have just learned that you can use certain cj links and the search url from the merchant, combining them as one link.
    I never knew this.
