    Web Hosting Question
I am wanting to make multiple sites, way more than I have currently, and need to find a more affordable hosting solution than I have now. I am looking for affordable, and user friendly (I am not tech savvy).

I have searched, but have read enough horror stories to be extremely cautious. I find a lot services that appear to be both affordable, and user friendly. However, I know there are some good traps to fall into if I am not careful. I am looking for recommendations: do you know of a service that I can depend on for affordability, and for being user friendly? Or do you have suggestions on what I need to be aware of when searching for affordable, user friendly hosting without getting ripped off? I have used the same service for years, and enjoy the tools they offer, but they are way too high in the price for what I am wanting to do; build a bunch of sites.

I appreciate any feedback I can get on this matter.

Found a good solution through the ad here at ABW - midphase.com - any reviews about this service?

    Thumbs up
I signed up for hosting at www.dreamhost.com a while ago, and so far they have been nothing but excellent. A great deal for the price. When signing up you can use the friends & family coupon code FRIENDS to get $50 off all plans. So if you chose to pay for a year up front, you can effectively get a full of Level 1 service for just $5.78 USD a month (plus you get a free domain registration too)! That's 4.8GB disk space, 120 GB of bandwidth, unlimited domains, unlimited databases, 600 email accounts, 75 shell accounts, php, etc. all with a 97 day money back guarantee.

We are using midPhase for one of our sites. Very impressive! Two things in particular I love about them: the "unmetered bandwidth" and the truly 24/7 technical support! THUMS UP!

    Try Lunarpages
I have been extremely happy with Lunarpages (http://www.lunarpages.com) where for only $6.95 a month I get a whopping 400 GB of monthly data transfer, unlimited databases, unlimited email accounts, cpanel admin interface, automated installation scripts for blogs and forums, numerous statistical tools, and top notch responsive support via email or phone.

They even have an IM tool that lets you get real time support (which I ended up using recently when I accidentally nuked my blogs right before heading out for vacation - DOH!)

You should be able to get quality hosting with 24/7 tech support for under $6 per month. It's getting very competitive with my main hosting company dropping prices and added bandwith and storage capacity.

I have also tried the FastNext hosting that Geno is AM for and like it. I have one site with them and I tested their support pretty hard. They were willing and fast. They are giving a hosting account if you sign up as an affiliate. Check Geno's link for the details.
