    Delta at Linkshare
Why is Delta still listed as an active merchant at Linkshare?

They declared bankruptcy and they owe me thousands. If they are still working with LS, I want my money.

You CAN'T trust LinkShare to protect you. They did it before. I'm still owned money from companies listed as active by LinkShare in 1999.
Don't wait, they are not going to pay you. The best is to deactivate your links ASAP. If the amount is important, consult your attorney.

    Thumbs down
Being a former airline worker, my opinion is that airlines get to play by different rules than individuals or small businesses as far as bankruptcy. They can default on debts to creditors and promises to employees and continue business as usual.
Numerous small businesses go under every time one of these majors 'hiccups'. They always find other businesses or the U.S. govt. to bail them out so they can continue their money losing ways.

One would think that if the network got their money though, the affiliate should get theirs...

All the money earned by the affiliates before the bankrupcy is lost (or good luck to get your share in court). Even if LinkShare was able to get their own money before the bankrupcy, they are not going to pay their affiliates. Airlines or companies can continue their business...
Where I'm really mad at LinkShare is that they don't inform their affiliates.

I got an email from Delta within the past month stating that everything pre bankruptcy was gone, but everything after that date was payable. I don't think they seriously see it as a problem for them that we didn't get paid. Hell, at least throw us a bone and double or triple the commission payout

I received the same email. I believe this is the SECOND time they filed bankruptcy. Delta only owed me a few dollars, but I am not going to send anymore business their way. I have other options open to me.

If you are an affiliate, dump them ASAP. If you're traveling and need great customer service Delta's people are the best.
