    Google Loves It's Own
With all the talk about Google loving content and how thin affiliate sites are bad this site makes you wonder. http://www.scriptours.com/bible/

For keywords "catholic bibles" they come up in SE for Google at 8 with a PR of 5, and yet all they are is a list of Google sponsored links and no text.

Now Yahoo doesn't even show them in the top 100 and I wonder why!

they use javascript onmouse stuff to obfuscate their internal php redirection to googlesyndication.com ads

    1) i assume this violates the TOS of AdSense.

    2) i assume that since google uses javascript themselves to place AdSense on user's sites, that it would be VERY easy for them to detect this activity.

i've hardly looked into this type of activity, so can someone confirm or debunk my assumptions above please?

Also do a search for gardening and you will find www.gardening. com. Totally useless content-wise. Seems like the only reason it is there is because of the domain name. I can only imagine what these guys are making from address bar type-ins and they also have a unfair first page result for a very competitive keyword.

I have noticed that adsense on my pages won't show up in the status bar of Firefox. I had to looks at their link properties to see where the ads where coming from.

They're not using the javascript, they are using straight text links that link to googlesyndication, look at the source. One wouldn't think that would be allowed.

If I'm not mistaken they are using Google's Domain Park service (http://www.google.com/domainpark/). So there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with what they are doing. Just got lucky in the SERPs I suppose...

Similar to the script, template and SERP spam scraper used at www.clothing.com that rotates ripping off high listed Google sites for a variety keyword domains.
