Maybe the mental midgets at Pricecrapper will now have some money to hire someone to allow merchants with websites a direct way to add products and keywords into their price comparision engine. Local merchants with no website can do this easily.

    Hmmmmm....

In Kellie's quote from that press releases, they forgot to mention that besides Experian also having our credit card and mortgage data (as one of the big three credit reporting agencies) and owning those companies quoted there, they also own...

    MetaReward / NetFlip:
    http://www.metareward.com/mr/Publish...andler/aboutus

And here's an article where MetaReward burnt NetFlix by partnering with Direct Revenue to use AdWare to pop covertly and in violation of NetFlix terms:
    http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/...95,pg,6,00.asp
    (see paragraphs 6 & 7)
"We also saw the Netflix logo appear--alongside those from American Express, Citibank, and Toshiba--in ads displayed by Metareward.com on Direct Revenue's ABetterInternet adware"

Once caught, MetaReward declined to comment.

Edelman has also shown them to use Gator / Claria in the past as well:

Pop, pop, pop... guess they now own a website (that carries nearly every available product) to route their redirects through...

Experian has acquired all the sleazy ways to profit from controlling so much personal data. Remains to be seen as to wether they subcome to the temptations of owning so many Adwhore operations lusting for the customer data.

    485 million_______
I don't use these price comparison sites, because they suck from my point of view.
Just did a simple test- looked up some slippers I just bought online last night for $29.99. On the site listed above, the best price they show is $54.95 LOL.
They must do okay on some items I guess......

They are an opt in network, PPC. That selects out a lot of merchants who don't want to pay 35 per click
