I STRONGLY recommend you build personal relationships with affiliates and respond to their queries in a timely manner (within 1 business day MAX).

    1. have one link dedicated to url redirection.

    2. make a text link to your high converting categories and products. and if possible to all your other categories as well.

    3. have at least one general graphic (your logo would be fine) for every banner size.

Learn from one of the best - Andy Rodriguez:

The late Fall seminar was postponed due to hurricane Wilma and I think may soon be rescheduled.

    Hi BDK,

#1 is to develop a relationship with affiliates. Also, network with other AM's. Gurus like Tony Robbins and Brian Tracy recommend asking successful people in your field and asking how they got there. People love to talk about thier passions.

    Good luck!

So long as you offer desireable products at a desirable price, track sales reliably and pay commissions in a timely manner, a good affiliate can be productive without any picking and prodding from you. Affiliates who personally demand your time and attention are generally a waste of your time and attention.

Don't act like you are a "coach" and the affiliates are your "team".

Don't insult your affiliate's intelligence by running stupid contests such as a $25 reward for those who manage to finagle a top-5 SE ranking on a term that generally garners $5 bids on Overture.

Don't post "Top 10 Earnings For Last Month" lists if your top affiliate only make a few hundred$. This will only drive prospective affiliates FAR away, and attract more time wasters to your program.
