    Question Questions from complete newbie
I just started displaying some merchant banner ads on one my most visited sites but so far the reports are uniformly zero, zero, zero ... I am beginning to wonder if I implemented the ads correctly. In every case I waited for the 'Approved' status, and copied/pasted exactly what was given for displaying the ad.

I had thought to post the URL here and ask for advice about my implementation but there is a scary red block of text right above this textarea "Do NOT Post Affiliate URLs or links" and I take it to mean I should not do what I was thinking of, so I won't.

Anyway, I also run Google ads on this site and it is logging over 1000 Page impressions per day - not zero. The CTR is typically between .9 and .1 %

Can anyone help me out here?

In the 'Activity Summary' , selecting 'Hits', 'All Merchants' & merchants' status is 'Online' & 'Approved' is 'Yes'

    Anyway, all zeros...

    alternate tracking
Depending on your server access and your technical ability, you could set up your own tracking to figure out what's going on.
A simple example would be to use a link redirector. go to google and search for AXS. It's a perl script for visitor tracking. Very easy to implement.
You point your affiliate link to the script, the script "counts" the hit and redirects the user to the affiliate site.
You go to the admin interface and run a report that shows you how many hits you got per link.
    Very simple.
    Good luck!
