I remember the good old days when it took 3 days to get listed in Yahoo, that was 1999. I blame Y2K!
I thougt DMOZ was dead up until 3 weeks ago, thats when I finally got my newest site listed there. My description was not the one I submitted but I don't care, it's finally listed so I can't wait till it gets in the AOL search engine.

DMOZ editors will edit your entry to remove promotional language, grammatical and spelling errors, or edit for briefness or clarity. I'd say I rewrite about 75% of submissions to fit the guidelines.
Sounds like you have an active editor - I'd suggest you submit a correction to the entry if necessary (but don't try to rewrite the whole lot).
