Cool Sporting bet closed down or not?
I've never understand how CJ handles affiliate programs which have closed down. Got this email about a deactivated advertiser - no which idea which one as no mention of any merchant. Login to CJ's interface and there's a long line of deactivated advertisers. Sporting Bet is one of them. However it says 'Active'.

So does that mean they've closed down or not?

There's often been advertisers on the deactivated advertisers list which continue running and running...

Also, are Sporting Bet on any other networks?

    Cheers.

Sporting Bet listed in 'Deactivated Advertisers'. More detailed name of this report is '(Temporary) Deactivated Advertisers'.
You relationship with it still 'Active'.

    Sorry, I don't understand.

Is the affiliate program still running or not?

It seems to be contradictory to use the terms "deactivated" and "active".

    Thanks very much.

They have stopped using Tradedoubler and now it looks like CJ is going the same. So yes it looks they are deactivated.

For the UK they are diverting their affiliate sign-ups to sportingodds.co.uk So I guess they are dropping their affiliate system.

SportingBet have killed off their affiliate program - so they are gone at CJ, TradeDoubler and everywhere else. Not really too much of a loss as they never converted well anyway.
