From a publisher's end (AdSense) or a PPC (AdWords) buyer?

From a publisher's perspective, Goog still outperforms Yahoo even though Yahoo is paying more per click. Goog's CTR is higher and overall still ends up being the better bet.

Iím sorry, I should have been clearer in my post. I was referring to PPC (Adwords).

2 Years of results for Google vs Yahoo for 12 ecommerce merchants show a 49% better ROI on Google campaigns. Draw your own affiliate conclusions, as I don't pay a dime into PPCSE advertising for merchants. Not a single one pays a dime to any affiliate for advertising via network links. It should be a law that AM's pushing keyword advertising be required to publish their merchant's site conversion ratio.

I prefer Google Adwords over Yahoo PPC.
    Google Interface = Extremely Easy
    Yahoo Interface = Painfully Difficult
Google Bid Prices = $0.01 and up
Yahoo Bid Prices = $0.10 and up

I was thinking about trying Yahoo, but from the info I think I'll be staying with Google.
    Thanks for the input!

I am extremely new to all this but thought i would share my two cents.
As far as who is better I like google, but if you are already having success with google then why not try yahoo. I wouldnt stop using a google campaign but would start a yahoo campaign. That way I am hitting a bigger MARKET. If after one month you dont see the results you like then stop.

I use Adwords a lot - easier interface and I get more traffic. Better quality traffic comes from Yahoo but the process of setting up an ad campaign in Yahoo always gives me second thoughts, specially when at the beginning, you have to play around with the keywords, adcopy, cost etc.
