I am looking for opinions on the best way to do the following.
#1 - Once a page is loaded, I need banners to rotate on their own
#2 - I must be able to specify the size of the banners, so the script can not support only standard banner size. All the banners will be the same size, just not necessarily 460 wide.
#3 - I need to link each banner to a website and prefer to be able to have the link open in a new window.
#4 - Want this to load quickly and not slow the rest of the page down
#5 - This has to be compatible with all popular browsers.
#6 - Zone support would be nice, but not necessary.

I use randompicker. It is CGI based and works fairly well. For different size banners, I setup a different directories with the cgi files in them. I name them 468x60 or 120x60 or 120x600 etc. so I know which banner types go where. I use SSI or PHP to include them where I need them on my pages.
Not sure this is what you are looking for, but it works for me.
