    Talking Images Not Displaying ??
    Hello Folks,

    I have a temporary fix that I use to keep holes with an x from being in my web pages when images don't load.

    I thought I would share with you because I've learned a lot from all of you.

    In the head of your page put:

    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="Javascript">
    <!--
    function CheckImages()
    {
    var Imgs = document.getElementsByTagName("img");
    var intNumofImgs = Imgs.length;
    for ( var i = 0 ; i < intNumofImgs ; i++ )
    {
    if (Imgs[i].complete == false)
    Imgs[i].style.visibility='hidden';
    }
    }
    // -->
    </SCRIPT>

    Replace the <body> tag in your page with:

    <BODY onLoad="CheckImages();">

    If the image loads normally your page will be like it should be.

    If the image doesn't load the place on the page where the image is suppose to be will just be the background color of the page where the image was suppose to be with no hole with an x in the page and the customer will never know that an image was suppose to be there.

    I hope some of you can find a use for this script on your websites.

    Cheers.

    BurgerBoy, since I only been here a short time, I'm sure you have learned nothing from me. But I would like to thank you very much for the script. It is a good idea, and very well done.

    If you want to see how it works - put it on one of your pages and put an image address on the page that is a bad URL.

    Load the page and you can how it works for yourself.

    I sure will! I'm working on some new pages, and plan to give it a try.

    Be sure to include the <img src="http://www.12345"> in the url you test because the script is looking for img on the page when it runs.

    Not really.

    I knew it works on my sites. I figured it would work for you too.
