Hey, thanks for the welcome Cursal ;-)

I try to be careful not to upset anyone and figured it was OK to post this in the "trade / buy or sell" forum...I'm selling programming services.

I got free tools you can check out too that everyone always loves...please see spiderninja.com ...free for use on my site or up for sale if you want to buy them.

Heiko is a nice guy and runs a great forum.

    Niffty site you have there.

Might I suggest a universal naviagtion "bar" that spans all pages.
I kept closing the windows thinking they were popped open.

Then I saw the Home link.....Just a recommendation so you don't lose visitors by accident.

Haiko, wow...that would be great, shoot me a line if you have any ideas. I did a few programming jobs for heisje's husband, so I am sure they can give me good references.

I've got a great respect for your site here...it is a wonderful resource, so, as always, thanks for creating it ;-)

Cursal, thanks for the input. I've had navigational bars on top before, but it is a bit of a problem since I keep changing the location of things and then have to go back and change every page...so I guess I just got lazy. But true, this results in a poor user experience and I should think about putting the effort in again. Thanks again for the compliment on the site!

    SN

Just build a nav bar and using a php include add iton all pages where you want it.
Then all you have to do is update the one page and it effects all pages site wide

    Like SSI, but it's php.

Curious why you have not done this before?
Simple fix to your so called "laziness"

    Peace,

Thanks for the sugguestion Brian, before I tried having a menu with 5 - 10 scripts listed, but I wanted the current script to be unlinked:

script one | script two | script three

so when I moved or added scripts, I would have to dig through the perl code and alter the 5 - 10 lines for 5 - 10 scripts. Finally I gave up and became lazy.

Your php include idea sounds like the better solution.

    Sure thing.

Would like to see it if/when you add it.

Makes easy navigation and unified looking pages.
