Not sure - not long. I was out and about for a couple hours and working on my sites before I went - it was up but when I got back it was down. But it is up again, now.

A company who played with every parasite in the book is now owned by a parasite.

That makes the decision real easy for me.

Shoebuy is one of the affiliates I like so I e-mailed Teresa (the AM atShoebuy) and voiced concern that ShoeBuy.com was just bought out by IAC/InterActive and I asked:
Are affiliate links/clicks/sales transactions still handled fairly or has IAC ruined the chances for affiliates to have a fair relationship with Shoebuy?
This was the response I received:
Thanks for bringing up your concern. To answer your questions, although we were acquired by IAC, believe me that affiliates will continue to have a fair relationship with Shoebuy. Our affiliate program will continue running as it has been. Also, I can tell you we absolutely don't believe in allowing anyone to steal affiliate commissions (this in no way serves our purpose and is not how we look to do business). We very much value your business and are committed to keeping the playing field level and honest.
    That is all I know.

If anyone has any other questions about Shoebuy, contact the Affiliate Manager. I like to think that affiliates still have a fair shot at making commissions on the shoes at Shoebuy in spite of the fact that IAC has come into the picture. I have always admired the quality and variety of products offered by Shoebuy.

I wouldn't believe everything someone tells you.
Shoebuy is listed as a merchant of PriceBandit.com, Shopathomeselect.com, MyPoints.com, and just about every other parasite that CJ allows and apparently even the ones they DO NOT allow (SAHS).
Shoebuy's AM is probably very nice, but she is rather clueless when it comes to keeping parasites out of their program.
Do some research and draw your own conclusions.

Where should I look in order to find more information?
    I don't have access to Lexis-Nexis.

Any tips on how I could conduct the research?

    Thanks.

Add an interesting (albeit self serving) note to the mix, which is that Shoebuy is also using 180Solutions to pop over its competitors.

Which, if cornered by authorities, they'll blame on some "rogue" affiliate...

As well as popping over their own site and overwriting affiliate cookies with their own. I spoke with their Mktg Mgr about this about a year ago. He told me they did this and made no bones about it. This alone shows how totally clueless they are about the affiliate channel. If they are not clueless, they are crooked and I will not accuse them of being crooked.
Angel, this thread shoudl show you how well your program can do on a SINGLE network that affiliates KNOW and TRUST.
