    in the late 60s I supervised a SICOM teletype network for a brokerage in NYC; that was a WU product using Telco Long Lines.

    Maybe that's the whole point.

    It just goes to show that good companies are always looking to diversify. If Western Union hadn't diversified beyond telegrams, where would they be today?

    Don't be so hard on yourself, Rexanne. I actually clicked your link to make the wire transfer. So if they still credit affiliates for wire transfers taken online - that's good.
