i was approved to join shareasale yesterday, I read in the terms of use that
i was not allowed to advertise in auto& manual surf, Then how will i get traffic?
Is there any other ways in getting traffics. My website was in autosurf and manual surf rotaion, , If i paste the html code on my website and and my site was already in the rotation, waht should i do, ? remove all the codes from my website?

    Thank you

This doesn't sound like a ShareASale policy, but more like the policy of the merchant you signed up for (I could be wrong, but I've never heard anything about that.)

If you saw that info from a merchant, you're better off emailing them and asking the question instead of SAS.

Subject: am i allowed to advertise in manual or autosurf?

    Dear shareasale support,

Just One question before i start advertising my shareasale links.

As stated in the terms of use from shareasale

    "...

NOT ALLOWED: Any placement of creative in a "Desktop" advertising scheme. This includes any and all 3rd party advertising platforms that use a desktop application to display ads in any form. "

i also emailed one of the support and got back a reply
    "No, that is not allowed.

    Thanks,

    Michael

It sounds like a prohibition of the use of adware to display your ads on some user's computer.

This is not the same as promoting via search engines or pay per click. That is allowed.

    What is autosurf?

Looks like autosurf is getting paid to surf

    http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...:en&q=autosurf

And it looks like it uses a surfbar that brings traffic

    http://www.autosurf.cc/

Our free service will get you 216 visitors per hour.
That' s thousands and thousands of visitors. Autosurf.cc - It just never stops.

No charges, no recruiting. The only thing you have to do is
to let your personalized surfbar run.
Doesn't sound to me at all like something SaS would be involved with.

autosurf are like 12dailypro or trafficswarm
havent you heard of any of them?

12dailypro the biggest autosurf ever, you put money and surf and your website links will be rotated
    BTW what is SAS
But still my questions been answered yet: if autosurf is not allowed whereelse would i promote my website that has got the merchant's html code on my page?

Yea I can already see the highly targeted , purchase focused traffic this would drive to a merchants site.... not.

This can fall into the category of a 3rd party advertising platform because it brings "traffic" through a software scheme.

The "forced traffic" that you are depending on is exactly what the rest of us fight against daily. It is also the reason SAS is our network of choice - Brian only allows legitimate methods of internet commerce.

How will you get traffic? Offer something people want or pay for advertising. Or both.

SAS sprays junk-be-gone on their affiliate, merchant and tracking systems constantly.

You want to be a legitimate affiliate marketer? Obviously, you aren't clear about how to do business ethically. Start going through ABW's affiliate marketing forum to learn how to promote.
