    Anyone have a complete list?
There is a lot of info here, dose anyone have a complete list of companies that use parasiteware? I would like to make sure none of my sites are promoting any of them.

Here's a sample of merchants addicted to partnering with BHO's totally ignoring how their crapware got on shoppers systems. It's justified by being able to hire cyber conmen to poach sales from their competitors sites. This group uses Freestylerewards & Coolsavings.com to do the dirty on shoppers and competitors...

Now notice how many are run by the network insider AM firms who condone double dipping application affiliates to pad their own pockets with bonuses. Every one of these merchants turn a blind eye to cookie washing and cookie stuffing, preferring the tricks for tricks crowd of affiliates over those strickly following the rules. If every one of the AM's running these programs were fired tomorrow the actual merchants sales wouldn't drop 1%. In reality by removing the double dipping fees every one of these merchants would make more profits per sale through their affiliate channel.

you can go to many of the parasitic apps sites and review their list of partners.
you can sign up for their newsletters and see which merchants they spam you about.
you can stay updated here at abw.

Ben Edelman and the turnofftheABWblockandIllthinkaboutit folks have published some security hole infestation info on the Coolsavings.com and sister site www.Freestylerewards.com BHO's. The list matches the above with most the 800+ programs also shown at http://www.ebates.com/all_stores.go and every other Branded BHO detected by Microsoft's Anti-Spyware package. Sure will be nice to see some heads roll when www.stopbadware.org starts publically outing the blackhat BadWare players and their merchant partners this month for media exposure.

Amazing the network run stores also are on www.pricebandit.com the WhenU crews toobar coupon BHO, after they were kicked to the curb for network TOS violations...

ABW aught to give out annual Zazzie Awards for the merchant AM's who show up on every BHO run by the Adwhores. My pick would be 1-800Flowers is on every BHO merchant list. ABW should sell some type of pixel Ad page for a BHO "Hall of Shame". Let competing clean merchants buy spots for their most offensive competitors and have the clicks go to their site. See how creative I can be!

I agree, that will be great to see! Looking forward to it!

There should be a public bad list, and there should be a public good guys list also. Reward the good ones for their honesty, and educate everyone.

I know I'm affiliated with way too many of the merchants on the above list. I really had no idea! Guess I have alot of work to do. Think I'll just go find some good indys to work with.

    So what parasiteware for?
Many, many computers (probably at least 50% if not 75% are infested with spyware, adware and such which means that if someone with an infested machine visits your site and buys something, your commission and/or cookie could potentially be re-routed to the parasite's and they will get credit for the traffic and sale. Sucks like the leeches they are.

That might be why I always can't reach the EPC shows on CJ, No matter how hard I worked, it just doesn't come to that EPC Number.I always have half of that.
That really big problem, maybe better work with Adsense.

ROLMAO .... that particular list came from Freestylerewards BHO merchant list from that SERP spammer Coolwebsavings. Most All BHO's friendly merchants are run by OPM firms. They live large on double dipping fees.

To see how the FTC is fixing to out all these merchants for using system hijackers for shoving their Ads up consumers butts see http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread.php?t=68839

The BHO cookie washing and forced click perps flying under the radar are growing their merchant lists as shown by this new one NetBates ... http://www.netbates.com/merchantlist.htm

Notice almost all ABW merchants plunking down extra large commission rates for the right to get double dipped. Seems like it's time to recognize any and all incentive/rebate/coupon marketers for what they are... point of sale attact dogs.
