Any ABW get togethers on the east coast?
I see a thread on LA which is great, but is there anything on the east coast where people on this side can get together and meet?

Grove - I posted the LA Get Together...

I was going to California anyway and decided I would post here and see if any ABWer's wanted to meet up.. I thought since it was California that there might be a lot of affiliates there... and there are...

You might want to do the same... There are several ABWer's on the East Coast..!
    GOOD LUCK!!!

Besides this one, if nothing changes, I should be driving around NC, VA and MD between 13 and 20 April. Where on the East Coast are you, Gove?

Anyone else wants to meet up on the East Coast in mid-April?

If its within reasonable (5 hours or so) drive of Pittsburgh, I'd be up for it.

There's a reason army's wear uniforms even though it makes them easier to spot. Sometimes that's what you want. Uniforms suggest organization, power, and numbers. These, in turn, inspire fear. And, as any good operative knows, there is no more effective weapon than fear.

I'm close to Orlando. I'd be willing to drive somewhere close. I also should be at Andy's seminar.

The furthest planned "northern point" in my journey is Baltimore, but I may get up to NYC if we work something out (for a meeting there). Anyone for NYC in mid-April?

I had planned to go home to visit Ireland, until I saw the price of Hotels, seems the new economy, breeds drugs, crime and higher prices,No mosquitos, though. My wife had a hard time here with them,we found a soap that repels them.when I told her the native Americans rubbed leaves on their skin, she said she was green inside, and buzz off.Not what she really said, but her Irish mouth can't be repeated here. It's 30 months since she passed away, and lonely as hell.

may as well keep this going. I'm amenable to NYC (actually, Albany to Scranton including NYC) but need a long lead time.

    Hey, even Syracuse . . .

I vote for syracuse Actually, a fun place might be the foxwoods casino in Connecticut. I've never been but I hear it's nice and it's the largest casino on the east coast (I think)

Usually many groups meet in New Jersey, along the coast,Asbury Park,Wildwood,Atlantic City,or Cape May.They all have convention hall space.Easy access along the interstates, many from Canada go there for vacations.I lived in Scranton for 11 years, that and NYC are disater zones, crime, prices all too high.I am moving back home to Ireland. The cost of living is lower,Furnished houses, with everything, in the county only $500 per month.Near the ocean, planty of fresh seafood and produce.Clothing handamde, including footwear,After what this administration did to the USA,Ireland's economy is rising. The last of the English army left 2 months ago, no more problems in the north.Since my wife is resting in peace their, and I was born there,I can find plenty of jobs, and family.
    Happy St.Pat's day
JJ My family all played the violin, piano, I played the comb,or banged on pots.

Epigae, I found your name in a book written by Andrew Greeley, the Chicago priest who writes everything Irish,it's in one of the irish lace, gold, series. For the little bit I earn online now, it's not worth the 6 years, and expenses.

I wish I lived under better circumstances as I'm probably close to the geographic center of a buncha people.

Too bad there isn't some software that goes beyond simple voting so each could say "I'd meet if the meeting place was within a radius of "x" of me." Then the locus of points that were common could be investigated.
