    Olympics Start Tonight
I like the Summer Olympics a little better but I still like these. And in Italy. Love Italy. I've been to Pisa, Vicenza and Venice in the past. And you know the food is great

I can't wait for everything to start. Olympics are one of those events that I could watch forever... even if I don't like the sport. I am looking forward to the hockey, it should be close.

I just wish they wouldn't let professional athletes play in the games. The olympics are for the kids and amatuers to get their chance to shine and make a name for themselves.

I am not sure what to think about that... parts of me agree and parts don't. I think the Olympics is a time when the World's best athletes get together in competition. If the best athletes include NHL players then I think it's just fair that they get to compete for their countries.

Ecch...that's the worst part of the Olympics. People watch that stuff instead of buying!

I'd like to devise a television standard that wouldn't allow sets to turn on for the day until AFTER a purchase had been registered on my sites from that household. So every day that the person wanted to watch the thing, they'd have to buy something through my site first! Or, they could just deposit money into my account, if they didn't want to actually buy any items.

If you want to know if you are getting the Olympics put CNBC and MSNBC on
look for a blue dot on the bottom right hand corner. If there is no dot there is a 75% chance you won't get the olympics.

I doubt I'll watch any of it.

You know... I tried watching 24 but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I happend to catch the only slow episode in the entire season but it just didn't stick to me. I ended up changeing the channel after 15 minutes.

    1. Kieffer is great eye candy
    2. Been watching since the first season so it all makes sense to me so maybe coming in later it is too intense
    3. It just plain is so well written and moves so well.... it is captivating
    4. Keiffer is great eye candy (worth repeating)

And to get sorta back on topic, the best winter olympics was the year of the "Brian's"

You can put in your zip and where you get your programming from and it'll give you the schedule.

24 was an amazing show. I only saw it the first time because it aired right after American Idol and it was great. Forgot to tune in most other weeks but I didd catch the last season finale which was INTENSE. I don't particularly think Keifer is "eye candy" but he IS compelling and a great actor.

Olympics? Blechhhhhhhh - B O R I N G - I worship football but no other sport (OK, maybe basketball) interests me and I don't watch TV normally so I'll be here, watching stats and ABW posts.

Affiliates should not be watching sports, they should be participating in them. The main problem working as an affiliate is becoming over weight, take a look at any affiliate get-together, looks more like a food lovers convention.

I admit I'm a little overweight, but I have took to dieting and exercise in the past month. I cut out sugar completely, low fat milk in my cafe lattes, and I walk 2 hours a night and do a half hour weights everyday. I dropped 25 lbs since Christmas, another 25 lbs and I'll be what I weighed when I was 18 years old.

Being Irish, theres not much interest in the winter Olympics here. Maybe if they had a snowball throwing competition...

BTW 24 is one of the best shows on TV, IMO

Geeeeeze I'm confused. Born in Mexico, thought you were American and you're rooting for NORWAY? OK, your name screams Norway but I'm still confused.

Yeah! That and House - the only 2 shows I've seen more than once in 2 years and only because they come on after American Idol which I watch with my kids, otherwise it's the computer screen 24/7. I did watch Gray's Anatomy after the Super Bowl, too. That was intense but pissed me off because that guy is still on the operating table ready to esplode. LOL - Once I start watching moving wallpaper, it's hard not to be enticed by the "you gotta see this next!" ads on during the original show.

    I'm with Leader, I don't want people watching T.V.

I want them on the web, making me money.

One of my new year’s resolutions, is to stay away from the T.V. as much as possible.

Just watched the pairs figure skating live (it's great when the olympics are in Europe!). Best TV I've seen for years - I love this stuff, worth reduced sales for two weeks to see it.

I've still never seen anything to match Torville and Dean's Bolero, that got me into it all - they come from Nottingham, my home town, so it started with local support.

The Russians were fantastic, but the Chinese will get there soon.

Snowboarding was strangely dull, none of the excitement of proper skiing and an embarassing interview with a "hip" BBC guy and a hard of thinking teenager.

24 is one of those shows that you have to watch from the start, at least from the season you're watching the episode from and it's even better if you've seen it all since season 1. There are plot twists that fans from the start will go crazy about but if you don't know the history it can be totally meaningless...there are still some plot twist that the occasional viewer can enjoy but its probably only a fraction of the fun...

You know what... I have a friend that has all the seasons of 24 on DVD. Over the next few weeks I am going to watch them and will let you know my findings. If I like it them you all proved me wrong... If not I will stick to my CSI.

Remember not to overhype! If you do, then you are expecting something that is impossible to meet your expectations.
