February 10th, 2006, 04:10 PM #1Anyone notice the UK sites are highest EPC?
I was just looking over the top three month EPC merchants at CJ and 7 of the top 8 are all UK. Are they just that much better performers or is it something to do with the exchange rate or something entirely different?Ron Bechdolt | Affiliate Program Management Consultant

I suspect it's CJ not converting the ££ to $$ conversion rate properly when it calculates the EPC.
I get paid in ££ and my account shows ££, for months my 7 day and 3 month EPC's have been about twice what my daily EPC's are - it doesn't catche up like you'd expect. It never happened like this when I was paid in $$.
How this happens I can't guess, as £1 is worth more than $1 - I'd expect it to be the other way round.
I'd put money on the way it's calculated and exchange rates rather than anything to do with UK programmes converting better. I have a lot of US and UK merchants and there's no particular distinction in conversion rates other than those you get between different merchants anyhow.
