The "SODUKU" Craze: Is it or not?
I am always looking out for new trends and I came across this game during the Affiliate Summit, it is called "Soduku". Have any one played this game?

I got my wife hooked on it and last week a friend of mine said that her whole office is addicted to this game and she 1st found out about it when she was getting her nails done. I went to buy one for the wife (because I'm tired of sharing. mine!, mine! mine!) and Barnes n' Nobles was sold out. I took that as a craze is starting or continuing to grow.

You can get the books anywhere. Osco, etc. You can play online at www.websudoku.com and it will even give you hints for if you've placed something incorrectly (if you ask).

I also have a hand-held game that my husband got for me at Target that operates like a palm pilot.

    Fun stuff and very addictive.

I'd never heard of it before, but when I asked a person here if they'd ever heard of it, they showed me their Sudoku desk calendar.

I think this would be a headache inducing game for me and then when I sleep, I'll have numbers floating around everywhere.

Some of my family members are addicted - I know for myself that it is satisfying to play, but I'm still a big fan of the Sunday Crossword in the paper.

My mother in law got me addicted to SODUKO last summer. I found it was a little tricky when I first started but after a while you pick up some patterns. It's always a good way to entertain yourself at lunch.

Also, try some of the dollar stores, I found one place with 4 or 5 different books.

Been addicted to sudoku for about 7 months now. The first time I tried a 3x3 grid sudoku, it took me almost a day to solve the damn thing. Now I take about 15-20 minutes. Am resisting the temptation to try a 4x4 grid sudoku since I fear that if I try that, I'll have no time for my affiliates

There was a twist on a Soduku puzzle in Qwyzzle.

micheck has the right question: How do we make money off of it?

I regularly do sudoku on a site that uses amazon links. I would tell you what site, but I don't want to (a) violate rules or (b) out somebody's site.

Too bad, it's a good site.

There's a reason army's wear uniforms even though it makes them easier to spot. Sometimes that's what you want. Uniforms suggest organization, power, and numbers. These, in turn, inspire fear. And, as any good operative knows, there is no more effective weapon than fear.

I recently thought of a good idea for a Survivor Challenge course modeled after the Soduku game, it's called "Ultimate Soduku". Just couldn't find who at CBS television to submit it to.

It must be one of those love it or hate it games. I tried it and quit after a couple of minutes thinking that I have better things to do with my time.

Maybe that's a sign of old age... not enough time left for everything, so I spend time only on the things that are most important to me.

I got this for my old palm so I can play it anywhere. Good for solving the ones in the paper too. As for making money from it, I've not yet, but I did put a sudoko page on my site which seems get a good bit of traffic. Maybe it's time to monetise it.
If you want a puzzle for your site there's a javascript version. Have a look here http://www.geocities.com/binnyva/cod...script/sudoku/

Qwyzzle was where I first heard of Soduku. I'm not a big Soduku fan though.

BTW Michael - did you ever finish Qwyzzle?

I find that once that you finish a Soduku it is very unrewarding. I have completed a few but I have to say that I am not a fan.
