You mean merchants who offer coupons? (As in, you'd make the commission. If you get *affiliates,* you'd be the one paying the commissions, not getting them...)

Most merchants who offer coupons are just regular merchants, who happen to offer a coupon at times (rather than always having a coupon to run). So to have a coupon-based affiliate site, you basically have to find out who's running a coupon at the time, and then put it up (and take it down when it expires). It can be a lot of w*rk! SAS has a coupons RSS that can make things easier, but I don't know how many merchants use it.

Requirements vary widely, but I haven't seen a serious merchant with a traffic requirement in ages. Some will drop you if you don't make enough sales, but traffic alone shouldn't be a disqualifier for a per-sale based merchant.

Coupon *sites* (sites dedicated to showcasing coupon deals) are usually affiliate sites--they MAKE the commissions, not pay them out...

Don't know much about it, there are past threads on the subject but I believe they are one of the biggest. There's also keycode but don't think that's what you're looking for, you need lots of traffic for that.
