    Smile Webmerge generating links with spaces?
    I am noticing that webmerge is generating my links with spaces in them rather than underscores or hyphens ( I have checked that either underscores or hyphens was selected in the File Name Hyphenator.

    I read earlier that someone else had this issue but didn't see a solution. It was suggested that he get the latest version. (This I've also done, but am still seeing links with spaces).

    Maybe I didn't re-install it properly? Should I have just installed it over the my first copy or uninstall first? I have licensed it and the code was still in my copy.

    Lastly, I suppose I can work around this by manipulating the data in my spreadsheets. If that's what I should do till the next release I'll be fine with that answer. I just don't want to keep spinning my wheels if there really is a bug or a solution.

    Any ideas appreciated.

    I don't believe File Name Hyphenator has anything to do with the links created from the template. That just sets up the way the file names are created, not the links.

    The links are using the information thats in the cell of the spreadsheet.

    ie.
    If the cell data is "blue widgets" then your template would need to be something like this to setup the correct link:
    HTML Code:
    <A HREF=http://www.mydomain.com/[WM-Field: Product replace(" ","-")].htm>
    Which should result in this:
    <A HREF=http://www.mydomain.com/blue-widgets.htm>

    The file name hyphenator always sets up the proper links (from the index page) for me without any need to have "replace" tags.

    As for upgrades, I always write down my license key#, then I uninstall the old version before installing the new one. Then I type my key# into the new one to unlock it.
