... great I get back to the hotel after 1 am after the Vancouver get together, bed by 2am...fire alarm goes off at 4 am.... walk down 19 flights... hang around outside in the tropical Vancouver morning heat while the fire brigade check the building and decide there is no fire...
Was mighty happy to not see flames coming out of the hotel windows when I got dowb stairs that's for sure
I have to say the fire brigade were bloody fast, they'd arrived before I'd got dressed and reached the ground foor.

What a nice way to remember your visit to Vancouver! Glad everything turned out okay and there wasn't any fire.
P.S Just think of the 19 flights of stairs you had to descend as a training exercise workout session .... some places charge additional for such services you know. LOL

You can walk down 19 flights of stairs??
Well.....maybe if I thought my ass was on fire, I could, too. But, certainly not willingly!
Glad it was nothing.

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

Hey Alex , was great to see you again last night! 7 hours seemed like no time at all I don't think I spoke to even 25% of the people there, we need a full 24 hours next year
19 floors down was fine.... I was worried about going back up 19 floors the same way.... fortunately the lifts were turned back on
The whole trip has been pretty exciting so far, starting in Bangkok with my flight being cancelled, the alternate flight arriving 30 minutes late in Hong Kong..where I had a one hour connection... and after all that my bags actually arrived on the same plane!!!
Canadian imigration has tightened up a lot since last year too, still smiling and polite but were on the verging of having me explain what affiliate marketing is, but did want to know why I'd want to be in Canada for a meeting about it.... so I went with "I like Canada" over "I can't get into the USA"
