I am about to launch my program
I am about to launch my affiliate program with CJ. I have not applied as I am fine tuning everything. It is a one product page and I will payout $150.
What do I need to expect?
Is CJ going to make me deposit 30K since my payout is so high?
    should I manually review publishers?
Am I going to get 8000 new publishers and 10 that work at it and 7990 that never do a thing?

I would just like some input.

I cant announce here, but it is a service product for life.

for example, it would be like unlimited filing of your taxes to the irs for your life and the life of your family. With toll free support and free gifts about saving on taxes.

No way, it is a true valuble service. When everything is set, I will announce it in the right forum and I think everyone will be interested.

I certainly am not going to rely on search engine traffic though.

p.s. I have debated on not even having affiliates so I can ensure the best quality to my customers. It is more on a direct contact one-on-one service where people rely on me to help them.

    Lets put it this way.

I am a CPA, and I specialize in taxes.
I am going to charge you a one time price to do any tax preperation for you and anyone in your household for life. Even if you have 2 parents and 7 kids. I will do thier taxes for life, for the one time fee.

Instead of worrying about what it is, I wish someone would answer my original questions.

    >>Is CJ going to make me deposit 30K since my payout is so high?
    Not sure, but *probably* not...

    >>should I manually review publishers?

This is debatable. As an aff, I hate manual approval! Some others swear by it. Parasites usually get into auto-approve CJ merchants.
But, the kind of thing you are describing may not attract parasites as magnetically as consumer goods...

    >>Am I going to get 8000 new publishers and 10 that work at it and 7990 that never do a thing?

I would expect the ratio to be better than that! But there likely will indeed be a huge base of "fill dirt" down at the bottom of your reports. Probably more like, if you got 8000 affs there may be 400-800 who do anything.
And occasionally there will be a "bolt from the blue" sale when someone who's been plinking in 1 hit, 2 hits/day finally makes a sale. (If your conversion ratio is 1/50, that 1 hit/day affiliate could make a sale approximately every 50 days...)

At 1 affiliate sale a day, I will cry.
At 5 affiliate sales a day I will be happy.
At 10 affiliate sales a day, I will be extatic.
At 25 affiliate sales a day, I will need a bigger staff.

Thanks for the answers and keep your eyes out.
