Just a little concerned since I don't see you here and that plane crashed awful close to your place.

Let us know you are OK!

Omigoodness HAIKO!! Thank God you and your family are okay. New Yorkers have been hit so hard with all these unforeseen tragedies. My prayers go out to the entire State of New York.

I mean it's depressing for me just hearing it all and knowing so many people are in pain and mourning. It just hurts my heart so that I've cried many evenings because if the state of this world today. I hope God will wrap his arms around us and this country and help us to heal.

But I'm glad your safe Haiko.

Good to know you're OK Haiko - Been watching it on TV with horror here in the UK &, like Packy, thought of you immediately as I remembered you saying you were in NY when September 11th happened. It's horrible for all involved oth on the plane and in the area of the crash, & new York seems to have been battered yet again but I guess we need to wait before jumping to any conclusions regarding the cause.

Glad to hear you and yours are okay Haiko albiet, shaken.
I just woke up so don't know the full story yet...it wasn't terrorism at work again was it?
Oh I hope not, it's got to the point that when I hear a news break on television I cringe..
So tired of all the violence and hatred going on in the world.

God man! What else is next!? I am glad you and your family are safe Haiko.

It is terrible what is happening. I hope that this is not a terrorist attack, but still it is a pitty for all the people that were on that plane. God bless them all!

Glad you are OK! It came real close to you this time. I don't blame you for shaking. When is this stuff going to end? Not for a long time I am afraid.

Thank you, everyone, for your concern and kind words.

I don't believe that it was a mechanical error so I hope we catch the F'er(s) that did this shoot and soon! We are all sick and tired of the encroachment on all our freedoms.

God Bless the victims and their families.

Glad to see you are ok Haiko.

I just got back from the hospital, my wife slipped on the kitchen floor yesterday and broke her wrist badly, the plaster cast did not hold the bones in position so they have had to pin it today.

Gordon - a speedy recovery to your wife. Ouch!!

Haiko - were you able to walk go over to the area where the accident was. I don't think it was an accident either. Just to coincidental - It's umm September 12th, one day shy of the 11th, It's a national freakin holiday - Veteran's day, and it happened in New York - AGAIN!! When is this ship gonna end!!!

Jada,

No .... it happened about 15 mins away from my house (driving).

But the MF planes are NOW flying so low over my House that I could throw a baseball into the engine! (not that I would)

TY, SSanf.

Glad you're okay, Haiko!

This crash seems rather fishy...at first I thought it'd be an accident since it didn't hit high-density or high-profile buildings (according to the news here in MI they weren't high-density, anyway...). But then I started thinking, that WOULD explain the sudden withdrawal from Kabul, if they expected us to be even angrier than we already were!

Gah!

Haven't had the TV on yet today so I don't know if they found out anything more overnight.

Haiko - I wonder if the airlines are implimenting a new procedure. I live about 20 minutes from our major airport. And I just noticed about 2 weeks ago that the planes are flying lower now when they about 100s of miles away from the airports. They are flying alot lower and alot slower then usual.

It's kind of scary.
