how to inform myself on a merchant?
i want to affiliate to a merchant but i would like to find other people who have had experience with them. whats a good way of doing that? as a newbie im a bit embarassed to just go and post in forums "what about XXX?", surely this must annoy people - that would get all the boards jammed if every newbie came and did that with every merchant.

ive already tried searching engines and forums but didnt find anything.

    thanks

You mean you tried searching on the web and didn't find anything related to the merchant or you didn't find any of the affiliates for the merchant? If yes, is it a new merchant?

    welcome to the forums, btw

i didnt find anything related to the merchant - no forum threads, no reviews, nothing. just their own marketing, didnt find any affiliates... bad sign? thats the thing, i would like to find them, so how do i go about it, just ask in the forums? if yes, what is the usual category? im not sure if the merchant is new - otel.com, have you heard of it?

yeah, come to think of it its curious i cant find any feedbcak or affiliates. but i guess i havent found anything negative either.

any general tips on hotel booking merchants by the way? do they have a general reputation either way, or just depending on the individual company?

    thanks for the welcome!
