Generating revenue with blogs and RSS feeds

I recently read where an emerging trend is the utilization of blogs and to distribute content and affiliate links through RSS feeds. In other words, there seem to be strategic ways to distribute search engine friendly content out to other sites and to other places where people are meeting rather than driving traffic to websites.
Rather than the "bull in a china shop" approach, I am asking for guidance from the more experienced users of this medium WHERE can I LEARN the most effective strategies to accomplish this objective?
Thank you in advance for any help you provide.

Take a look at www.engadget.com. They've got a solid business around blogs and electronics. Very successful site.

I have always wondered why a web site is limited in the amount of G ads it can have, yet blogs have at least one set for each posting. I have seen 20+ on the front page of a blog & it's fine.
