Question how do I sign up for clickbank?
    I finally found this:

    https://ssl.clickbank.net/signup/

Is that all I have to do? There was barely any information about the program. Seemed suspect. I'm sure it's not, but it just didn't look right.

Yes, that's the right signup page. They don't give much information on That page

    Here's their FAQ page:

I signed up. Thanks. Anything besides theft I should watch out for? Any words of wisdom? I am trying to things with adwords. An ebook and hosting.

If you are promoting someone else's stuff, be prepared for lots of refunds, especially on high dollar items.

How much is high dollar? $49+?

Do you think it is wise to grab the higher selling ones, the top ten, and pick a couple or should I wade through a bunch of them looking for...?

How many items should I sell at once?

Any advice is appreciated. It's more of an experiment. Thanks.

I used to sell a $47 dollar item that payed me 75%. I was doing adwords to landing page and getting pretty good results. I would say about 10% were chargebacks and this was back when I could get all my keywords for 5 cents. My conversion rate was about 2%. I am no adwords expert so when all those changes went into effect, I was having issues and stopped. I was making good money, but it was just too much work keeping up the campaigns.

Apparently all the good stuff has been taken, because there aren't many adwords for .05 anymore...I don't think.

How many campaigns did you have?

If I remember correctly, I just a few campaigns. I think I had about 5000 words I used. If I had the time, or I should say, if I planned my time better, I would go back to doing it.

One thing I do to avoid the "hop.clickbank" thing is set up a page on my website that is a frame. No content. Then from the frame call the "...hop.clickbank" page.

Now I can promote my local page:
"Want a great diet book? click mygreatsite dot com or whatever.

When they click it, the hop.clickbank kicks in and their page displays. My aff id is not
    visible.

    Just a thought.

I used to advertise high ticket products using adsense
and I realized that I am getting a lot of charge backs.
Now, I never promote individual clickbank products.
Infact, I rarely log into my clickbank account although
I still get about $300 a month from clickbank.

My advice is... go global... and sell when you least
    expect a sale

I gave up because I couldn't find a lot that in good conscience I could sell. It was all too good to be true stuff.
