OK, this is the cafe, right? This doesn't have anything at all to do with affiliate
marketing but I think it is funny as all get out.

How about sending this guy some questions. to add more content to his site?

Nope never heard of that mountain.
I'm in Shepparton, which is in the north-east of Vic.
How have you set yourself up for tax purposes (if you don't mind me asking).
I'm heading off to the accountants soon to get an ABN.
I want a new computer, so I'm gunna be able to claim the GST back.
I wonder how he'll deal with all the income i've already earned?
I can see a whopping tax bill

I know Shepparton, I'm a Melbourne girl originally.

Yeap, got my ABN, done all that.
Right now I'm still trying to sort out a tax situation with one of my mini sites.
It brings in a great earn every month (no cj merchants, an info product) but they are slugging me 30%!
I've been told to sign the W-Ben so they don't withhold tax,but they still with-held tax, then I'm told I should have the W8-ECI...or something.
But I've spoken to a number of "Aussie heavy hitters" and they've never heard of this happening, it's usually left to the affiliate to take care of their tax and the merchant probably isn't used to dealing with os affiliates.
In the past 2 months I've paid well over $1,500 to the US Tax dept, so I'm waiting to hear back, trouble is, it doesn't appear to be set in cement, some do it one way, others another!

Well I didn't have any choice...
they ( the merchants) just take 30% out before they send me the cheque every month!

I signed a W-8BEN but last month they still took out 30%.
I even asked Allan Gardyne because he is from up here whether he had come across a similiar sitution but he hadn't and was surprised. Allan said the W-8Ben was supposedly so they wouldn't take 30% withholding out and he wants me to keep him posted.
I've emailed them again, but I guess because of the holidays I haven't heard back, so I'll wait till next week before I contact them again.
