whew! I have looked at a few sites of some of you old timers, and have come to realize I aint alone. I thought I was one of only a few to have a web site that was made up mostly of affiliate (commission earning) links. I don't feel like I am the only one with an ad farm now - lol!

I'm one of those old timers too. Lok at www.EcomCity.com and my Cybermall beyond the web development pages and filler is mostly all affiliate merchants. Amazingly I get 26% return visitors per month. Some how it gets bookmarks and I'll work on it after the Holiday rush to actually sell 3rd party non affiliate enabled products. I got burned with the e-catalog/cart program interfaced to mall by computer distributors and dealers who never paid me properly on booked sales. They like the affiliate merchants love the biz but hate paydays to 3rd parties.

LOL! Far from being the only ones, there's entire Google pages of affiliate sites in almost every category that something could be sold in!

Well I can't say that I'm an old timer, but my site is a HUGE farm of CJ links. To be more exact 450 merchants. Phew! That's a LOT of work to keep them updated.

Alex--- I bet you just love those daily 'one or more of your merchants have been temporarily deactivated' notes that cj loves to send out....!
