    Packy,

It was @home broadband service that may be shutting down. They are in the process of going thru bankruptcy but are still operating after a request by the FCC to a Federal Judge that they be allowed time to renegotiate deals with their distributors.

I also got a claim form in the mail for webshots. They want me to send it back by Feb. I gues that way I will get the money they owe me in the next few years?

Hard to believe, have a monopoly on providing service and stil go bankrupt?
At least in Canada, Shaw, who has provided the service and our our cable providors have service available that we can just switch over. They make it sound so simple, just switch over but changing 5 sites links etc lots of work to be done. Umm think I have to change my info here too.......
I'm still far better off then some. Some people on @home discussion groups have made mention they will completely lose service and back to the old 56k modems.
Midnight deadline has come and gone, things are still up so I assume things will take a while before final answer is issued
