    Problem figuring Aff I.D.
    I signed up as an affiliate for a certain company today and got datafeed from them. I'm converting the feed to include my aff ID. Here is the problem. The way it looks my aff ID has already been included in the feed. See below

    merchantID=7429&userID=YOURUSERID&productID=

    From what I can tell from other places on Shareasale the 7429 is my ID and already in the code. Whatdo I do with the "YOURUSERID"

    BTW this is through Shareasale

    Any help would be very appreciated.

    7429 should be the merchant id.

    Your affiliate ID goes in the "youruserId" section.

    the merchant plugs in the merch id when they make the FTP feed.

    To verify your affiliate id, login to SAS, it's located in the upper left corner.

    So each merchant on Shareasale doesn't give unique aff IDs, it is the combination of the Shareasale ID and merchant ID that makes my link unique to me?

    1. Find your affiliate (userid) id at the top of the Shareasale login area:
    Your User ID: 797979

    2. Your affiliate link will be like:
    merchantID=7429&userID=797979&productID=

    Correct, for each link you need to tell share-a-sale's system three things
    MerchantID, AffiliateID, and Product.

    Shareasale then refers it out to the merchant's site for that product and sets the cookie for you.

    If they buy, you get credit and commission.
