Here is an example of a really cool style of clipart. Anyone know of where to find this stuff or if it has a name or anything?

    Thanks, here is an example:

It's 1950 commercial art (used for ads and such). Dover Publications has some good books of this stuff -- check your local bookstore or abebooks.com...

also try http://www.retroadart.com/ (they sell a cd) and http://www.squaresville.com/clipart/retro/retro.html

and if you like the retro look try http://www.girlswhowearglasses.com/type.html and http://www.fontdiner.com/ for some cool retro fonts.

you can even go back further, 1920s-1930s. I have about seven books for that (from Dover).

"1001 Advertising Cuts from the 20s and 30s"
    (more holiday, family, men&women...)

"Advertising Spot Illustrations of the 20s and 30s" (this one has more industry, vehicles, careers...)

These two are the best and you can still get those at Amazon
