How do you replace the W9 in the Linkshare system with a W8 if you leave the US and become a non-US person for tax purposes?Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try. -- Homer Simpson

To change your tax classification, you will need to change the address in Edit Legal Entity under Your Profile. After you have changed the country, you can then edit your Tax Information.

Yes, you will lose your direct deposit. Only US-based affiliates are eligible for direct deposit. We are working on offering direct deposit to international affiliates, but no time frame has been set for this project.

I tried changing the country to non-US like you said, but I still see W9 as the tax form in the tax section.Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try. -- Homer Simpson

Errr. If you leave the USA, and were a US taxpayer prior, you remain a US taxpayer - on your worldwide income - for another 10 years, IIRC.
I think only way for a US citizen to leave the IRS web is to revoke their citizenship.
Even people that get greencards and NEVER USE THEM are liable for taxes to the IRS on their worldwide income.
IANAL, YMMV etc etc.
