Question How do Merchant's Handle Bandwidth Issues?
Say I build a catalog and it pulls in a lot of images. Doesn't that eat up a lot of bandwidth from the merchant? Is that ever an issue or do they tend to have dedicated servers where bandwidth moneywise from a host doesn't matter? It still puts a strain on the servers though. Just thought I'd get some thoughts. Even in testing I could eat up a lot of bandwidth.

    Thanks for any comments.

I think it depends on the advertiser, I've seen some on yahoo sites, where as others have dedicated servers for sure. I wouldn't worry about the bandwidth unless you run into slow loading images, at which time I'd have to wonder how serious the advertiser is.

It's all part of doing business online ;-)

I agree, as long as you are using the images to sell the merchant's products then how can they complain. After all, that is what the images/bandwidth are for, to sell the product.
