Angry Charged $7 for changing account settings?
I just went into my account settings to see what payment options are available. I already had my bank details entered in for direct deposit but I thought PayPal would work out better so I changed it to that and then read that it won't accept PayPal at the moment. I then changed it back to direct deposit into my bank and then found I had to enter all my bank details again as well as pay $7 ? So I haven't done that and thought I would first post here.

    This seems a bit unfair.

? I think I remember an old thread that SAS doesn't do Paypal anymore, so I don't why that would even be there.

3 years ago. So it should be removed as an option for payment.

    That's weird!

I would guess that Brian will get rid of that charge when he sees your situation (but I can't guarantee it, of course).

I thought the $7 was the fee charged for direct deposit into overseas accounts. That's what I get charged every month for the privilege to have it credited straight to my Oz account.

Because I also get charged $7 per deposit as it says on Sharesale

It as now defaulted to payment by check which I will be charged $10 by my local bank if it's made out in US dollars.

I havn't been charged another $7 yes as I haven't bothered to enter my bank details again as I wanted to see what was said here first.

Yes went down that track - Paypal would suit me better too - doesn't hit me with fees if I withdraw more than AUD$150. At least with Direct Deposit you don't worry about the check being lost in the mail...

    Glinted,

There is a $7 fee to have your commissions deposited via Direct Deposit into your bank in Australia. We setup direct deposit as an option to Australia due to the feedback from Au-affiliates that they were being charged large fees by their banks for cashing checks, etc...

There is no fee to change your account setting - only on the payment that would go to you on the 20th of every month. If you were already setup for AUD-Direct Deposit the fee would have been the same.
    Thanks,
