    Elisabeth- We really need to get you elected President. I know, you're from Canada, but surely we can work out a cabinet position or something.

    P.S. - Winnipeg rules! I have like 40 cousins running around that town.

    A quick question here for you script boffins.
    I already use css stylesheets but I am not sure how to put this in the existing stylesheet, could somebody please let me know how to do it.

    ----- my style sheet ------
    xstyle type="text/css"xx!--by Studio VII Sparber001

    body {font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 0.8em; color: #000000; }
    a {text-decoration: none;}
    a:Hover {color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;}
    Blah
    Blah
    Blah

    --x
    x/stylex

    Would I just type
    span {font-size:12px} ? into my style sheet?

    x!-- StopText code courtesy SgtSearch.com and Thiefware.com --x
    xstyle type="text/css">< !-- span {font-size:12px} --xx/stylex
    x!-- Stop here and insert into your site head tags --x

    Or you can save the text above to a file and name it whatever.css Then link from your headers by uploading the CSS file to your server and adding this between your head tags:

    xlink rel="stylesheet" href="http://yoursite.com/pathtofilename.css"x
    >< replaced by xx

    Gordon..
    yes, you would need to add the span tag to your existing style sheet.

    span {font-size:12px;}

    an example of an external stylesheet in notepad

    <TABLE width="400" border=2 bordercolor="#999999" bordercolordark="#666666" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" valign="top">
    <TR>
    <TD bgcolor="#0000FF" VALIGN="top"><FONT color="#FFFFFF">Â*NOTEPAD
    </FONT></TD>
    </TR><TR>
    <TD bgcolor="#999999" nowrap VALIGN="top"><FONT color="#FFFFFF" size="2"><U>F</U>ileÂ*<U>E</U>ditÂ*<U>S</U>earchÂ*<U>H</U>elp
    </FONT></TD>
    </TR><TR>
    <TD bgcolor="#FFFFFF">

    <FONT color="#000000" size="3">
    <pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">
    /* comment */

    BODY {
    background-color: black;
    color: white;
    }

    TT {
    COLOR: green;
    FONT-FAMILY: arial;
    }

    H1 {
    COLOR: red;
    FONT-FAMILY: tahoma, arial;
    }</pre>
    </FONT></TD></TR></TABLE>

    notice that comments can be added to the stylesheet between the /*slash|star*/ but html tags should not be included
