    Root domain ending in //
When I click on home with the ae script, the domain comes up www.domain.com//

    Any ideas.

PS - what sitemap creator tool do you recommend for ae?

In your customized AE template, change the URL of the Home link:

    <A HREF="http://YOURDOMAIN.com/{cfg.store.navbar.home.url}">{cfg.store.navbar.home.text}</A>

    to:

    <A HREF="{cfg.store.navbar.home.url}">{cfg.store.navbar.home.text}</A>

The default value of the store.navbar.home.url configuration variable is "/". If you want the domain name in the URL (so that the URL is absolute rather than relative), then put it in the store.navbar.home.url configuration variable, "http://YOURDOMAIN.com/".

AE does not generate Google Sitemaps. And it is not recommend that you create a Google Sitemap for an AE website since AE can dynamically generate millions of webpages.

If you do use a Google Sitemaps generator, then you should first edit ae.ini and set asinsearch.format to "" (default is "") to eliminate local details pages thus significantly reducing the number of URL's in the sitemaps. (you can set it back to a non-"" value after you generate the sitemaps, if you want). And to remove some store sections (e.g.: remove DVD's from your website, and thus from the sitemaps), see: How do I display only books and no other product types?
